Responsibilities:

  • Perform diverse composite assembly tasks including riveting, drilling, and bonding composite assemblies.
  • Refine fiberglass surfaces through deflashing, sanding, trimming, and filling.
  • Manage loading and unloading of molds in various equipment such as oven, press, or autoclave.
  • Ensure upkeep of tools, molds, fixtures, and production equipment in the Composite Assembly section.
  • Maintain and prepare materials for accurate log tickets.
  • Adhere to company standards of workmanship and quality.
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned by management.
  • Follow all safety procedures outlined by DG and Facility Engineer/Safety Director.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in mechanical assembly; familiarity with composite assembly processes is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to interpret and comprehend blueprints and work instructions.
  • Capable of lifting and pushing up to 25 lbs.
  • Proficient in using power tools and hand tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
