Responsibilities:
- Perform diverse composite assembly tasks including riveting, drilling, and bonding composite assemblies.
- Refine fiberglass surfaces through deflashing, sanding, trimming, and filling.
- Manage loading and unloading of molds in various equipment such as oven, press, or autoclave.
- Ensure upkeep of tools, molds, fixtures, and production equipment in the Composite Assembly section.
- Maintain and prepare materials for accurate log tickets.
- Adhere to company standards of workmanship and quality.
- Execute additional tasks as assigned by management.
- Follow all safety procedures outlined by DG and Facility Engineer/Safety Director.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in mechanical assembly; familiarity with composite assembly processes is preferred but not required.
- Ability to interpret and comprehend blueprints and work instructions.
- Capable of lifting and pushing up to 25 lbs.
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
